HUGE Boyband News!

So along with a fun filled month of school work and house work. Backstreet Boys and NKOTB both announced a tour, of course this is no normal tour. They are doing it together!! Really who says dreams do not come true.

Every should know that I love those boybands, it started out with NKOTB and then I saw BSB. Been to concerts for all so now its only normal to enjoy a concert that both of them share on one stage! Big news is that they only have announced a few dates. I pray more will be announced soon and of course PNW is on that list! I am ready for a roadtrip this summer.

Also the big talk is a stage in the shape of a "penis" okay not really but I do believe thats the only way you can explain it. LOL its a big round main stage with a walkway into another smaller round stage. I do believe this will give every body great views of all the guys.

The VIP tickets are a little more crazy priced wise BUT you do get some cool stuff with them. I am just trying for wonderful amazing seats that of course I will drop me a few dollars on! I have only read of NKOTB doing a meet and greet, so not sure if BSB will actually do it or not. I just want some more of Donnie!! hehe LOL

So the planning is already starting, I have thought of outfits, tee-shirts and of course sign ideas. (and we haven't heard if they are even coming near me yet!)

They will be on the AMA's performing this weekend so of course that will be great. I am making sure my DVR is all set up and ready to tape. Twitter has gone crazy the last few weeks, and days of course with the tickets going on sale.

TOUR DATES:
June 9th - Toronto CAN
June 11th - Uniondale NY
June 12th - East Rutherford NJ
June 17th - Chicago IL
July 1 - Los Angeles CA

As you can see we could easily fit the PNW in there after LA, plus they have a few dates left between Chicago and LA. So I am not worried they wont add more dates.

Update! Its been a month

Wow thought I would do this whole blog thing today BUT of course life gets in the way!

Wow so much has been going on, I am busy with school work we are down to the last 5 weeks and have 3 HUGE projects coming up that I am trying to stay caught up on. Its starting to get colder so I am trying to find the yummy soups, hearty meals and crock pot ideas. I am getting ready for a nice thanksgiving and then its time for Christmas! Can't believe its time for that already.

We had friends surprise up for a visit this past weekend, so that was great. We hung out got tattoo's (this is #9 for me!) I also got my nose pierced! Wow that hurt but all in all its looks great. We had a party at our house Saturday where we watched PPV boxing event. Then of course all us drunk adults played Just Dance 2 on the Wii. Fun game if you have not tried it, great for parties!

Thursday News

It's Thursday meaning its almost the weekend!! Finally, this weekend should be filled with fun as we got to do laundry and then we hope to make it to the pumpkin patch on Saturday.

I have a few things to get done this weekend school wise, plus I still need to head out and get Raul his anniversary card. Then maybe a little gift, take our cake topper out and get it ready to eat. I am still trying to find something good, simple and cheap to make for our dinner. At least we will have the day together since he is taking it off.

Today was mostly spent trying to get caught up on school work, I am doing pretty good just have 1 paper from last week I need to get done with this weeks papers. I am still waiting for my physical books to show up. Though UPS said they would be dropped off today as of now nothing!! Should of sent them Fedex and now brown. HAHA LOL!!!

I also want to clean the kitchen which will get done while I make dinner tonight. Which of course is going to be Tater-Tot Casserole, something I believe the girls will really like and enjoy and Sydney will eat (I hope!)

Tuesday and Day nine of Blog Activity

Well once again its Tuesday, today has been pretty good. I did all my cleaning yesterday and only need to do a quick spot clean in the kitchen. I have been working pretty hard in my 3 classes for school. Lots of work and its pretty darn hard when you don't have the actual book in front of you. i hope they show up pretty soon.

Dinner tonight is Taco's I love taco's and could eat them all day long! Then tomorrow we are having Tater Tot Casserole made with hot dogs, corn, beans and of course Tater Tots. I do believe that the kids will love this one.

Other things on my mind is trying to figure out a simple, sweet gift for Raul and our 1 year wedding anniversary. I would love to find something that is not a huge amount of money so if anybody has idea's please send them my way!

Oh and tonight is the 90 minute Teen Mom on MTV!! I am so excited to see what happens and so happy that we can now watch it 3 hours earlier thanks to Dish Network.

DAY NINE: BLOG ACTIVITY
Describe 2 smiley's that show how you feel today

First smiley would be a headache smile, I sure wish they had ones out there. I have the worst headache still. I can imagine it with a swiggly mouth, half closed eyes and swiggly lines coming off its head.

Second smiley would be the total I am lazy and tired one! I am so ready for a nap but with school work it just was not going to happen!

Friday and Day 8 Blog Activity

Well its Friday finally, the girls have the day off and we spent the morning running around and getting stuff done. Tomorrow is a big day as we have a Camp Fire meet up so the girls can join and meet others. My mom is coming over today for the last time to see the girls and have dinner with us before she moves.

Went shopping at Walmart and picked up 2 cute shirts for myself, shoes for the girls, white shirts to tie dye at Camp Fire. Then the big shopping of the week, went to Winco for the food and only spent 100$ for a whole week with a few extra's very happy with myself!

We are also getting Dish Network to save on cable cost and still have good TV. In the end we will save over 55$ a month switching from cable to Dish. PLUS all our shows besides the locals will be on 3 hours earlier which means I can actually watch them. YAY!!!

Blog Activity Day 8: 3 Turn Ons

1. RAUL
2. Coffee (I love it so much!!)
3. A nice clean house :-)

Halloween Shopping

So I have spent the last 2 days at thrift stores checking out things for Halloween. Looked and looked and even looked more.

Good thing is we found a friends costume and its pretty much done! I can't wait to see her in it and her husband. I still have not figured out what the girls are going to be. May have to check out Walmart as online their costumes don't seem so high. I think I want Sydney to go as a baby with the 1 piece jammies. TO CUTE!!

Raul and I were doing an 80's look but then found the funniest hat at Fred Meyer and decided to go as the redneck trucker and his pregnant wife. (hahahaha!!!)

I found this blue and white plaid bathrobe with ugly flowers, blue old granny style house shoes. Got a pair of knee high tights. Got my pregnant belly pillow, and plan on buying some curliers, red lipstick and blue eyeshadow.

I did get Raul his ugly plaid shirt, and only need his mullet and trucker hat. We are planning on writing on his arm a few redneck names and cross them out, then add mine. Hahah!! I can hardly wait till Halloween.

Today of course its not going to be that exciting, laundry, park if the weather finally warms up. Otherwise its just a nice day to sit at home and do nothing and I mean nothing.

What a day!

Whew what a day, had to get up about 45 mins earlier then I usually do. Brianna had her diabetic appt out in Portland. Left the house at 7:30am and got to the hospital at 8:45am. I had to pee so bad at the time. We actually sat there till almost 11:30am ugh.

Only good thing that happened today was we got to spend Raul lunch hour with him. Yea I had to drive into Canby not a big deal as I had to go by there anyways to head home. It was so nice to see him even for 45 mins.

Now we are finally home and I am so ready to relax, just waiting on the phone call to pick Raul up from work then its relax time for me! I am thinking a coffee may be in order cause that sounds so good right now.

I have to finish off my Dutch Bros picks for this weeks games. Hmmmm... wonder if I will ever get more then 40 pts.

Okay Last Post (I swear!!) Aprons

Like I said below I am on the hunt for an apron, I have been wanting on for months now! My style is pretty open, I am not into bright colors but love shapes and patterns. Not really sure if I want a full style or half style. Maybe be safe and just get both! LOL Anyways here are my picks for a few aprons that I love. Now to narrow it down, by the way I did find these of http://www.etsy.com another great site for all homemade items!

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now

This might be a little harder then you think, I have so many "issues" with people that its hard to even come up with just one. I will try anyways and think of those 10 things I want to say to 10 people. I am going to start from 10 to 1, making 10 the least important and 1 being the most important.

10. To Facebook Users, why cant you just help me out and finish those dang buildings in Frontierville?

9. To my next door neighbors, why does it always sound like a heard of horses running down your stairs at all hours of the day? Don't you understand that I do like to sleep at some point.

8. To the lottery people, can you please just pick my numbers just once and let me win the 20 million jackpot? Please! :-)

7. To my daughters, why must you both think your 16 when your not. Why must you think that you own my house and I should follow your every command?

6. To my mother, I may not show it but I am very sad that you have to move. I know for sure the girls and I will miss you. Wish you the best and don't forget to show love to Sissy and Maxwell for me!

5. To the mom who picks her daughter up at school, I don't understand why you must think that just because you had kids and you think you look good. You really should not wear those shorts, you are not "skinny" enough for them. Let alone we are not happy with seeing your butt hanging out from under those.

4. To the same mom as above, when you believe that hickys are the best thing in the world you should really consider covering them up while picking your daughter up at school. I am not a mean person but you look like a tramp..

3. To the people who think they are hot when they are not, you really should never ever wear a pair of pants/shorts/skirt with the words HOT, CUTE, SWEET ect across your butt. It doesn't look good no matter how skinny you are.

2. To my friends, you all are the best in the world. Most have helped me through tough times in life. Most have made me laugh and feel better about myself. I think I may have hit the point that I am happy with myself and all my friends have helped me see that. Plus I have made so many new ones because of NKOTB. For that I Thank You All!

1. To my husband Raul, I can never express or show you how much you mean to me. You have been the best thing to step into my life at the exact right moment. You helped me through so many things, let me cry on your shoulder. Let me talk and talk, be angry but always knew how to make me smile. You have been exactly what I have been looking for years and not even knowing it. I love you more then words will ever express and I am ready to spend the rest of my life with you.

Creative Juices Flowing!

I swear this blog is the best thing that has happened to me! I can feel my creative juices flowing and I want to type and type and type. I talked with a fellow friend (Hailey!) and I have loved her blog for months now. So she posted this fun activity to get me writing more so I do believe I am going to try it. Along with all the other things I think I should be writing about!

Check out Hailey's blog here http://divinemrsdiva.blogspot.com/

Here is the blog activity I am going to start. Feel free to use it for your own blog!

Over the next 10 days, blog about the items on this list:

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession

My next blog will be about the blog activity. Then I may post about my quest to find the perfect apron!! I keep telling Raul that I want one for our 1 year anniversary and excited to find the "perfect" one. Enjoy!

What's for Dinner? And the forever To Do List

Here it is the 2nd blog post in 1 day, I do believe I am getting the hang of this whole write a blog and spill everything you do in a day.

THE BIG TO DO LIST:

So this list I swear never gets any smaller, I just feel like I keep adding to it every single day!

-Clean bathrooms
-Vacuum the upstairs
-Take garbage out
-Write grocery list
-Plan next week dinner menu
-Pay bills
-Plan our Redneck Halloween costumes. Raul is going as a Redneck Mexican Trucker, and I am going as his Pregnant Redneck Wife!

Now this is the list of things I would love to get done over the next few months. I have so many creative things running through my head.

-Buy the Ikea TV stand (I have been eyeing it for months now!)
-Custom Welcome sign for the front door
-Custom "Garcia" sign for the top of that new TV stand
-Custom Headboard for our bed

So dinner tonight is what I call Mexican Soup. I actually love mexican food and soup is a great and simple thing to make. Its also pretty filling and you can get at least 2 meals out of this one dish.

Mexican Soup

20 Min Cook Time

1lb chicken or hamburger meat
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 cup frozen corn
1 can petite diced tomatoes (I like the smaller ones, but you could use the larger ones)
1/2 chopped yellow onion
1/2 red and green bell pepper
2 (14.5oz) beef stock or 4 cups water and 2 boulion cubes (use chicken stock if your using chicken)
1 tablespoon ground cumin
Wide egg noodles, not cooked use as many or as little as you like

Place cooked meat with everything but noodles into large pot, bring to a boil for about 10 mins, add noodles and simmer for about 20 mins or so, not to long or you noodles will get all smooshy.

I like to add shred cheese to the top and sour cream, you can even use a bottle of salsa if you would rather skip the peppers, tomatoes.

My Very First Post!

Wow, can't believe I am actually doing this whole "blog" thing! Not something I thought I would ever do as I can never figure out what to write about. Lets just say I am not good at putting my thoughts or ideas down on paper. Never have and probably never will be. Yet here I sit and writing all my thoughts down on the computer.

I decided to start this blog since I have all this free time on my hands. Now that I am a SAHM (something I have wanted for years!) I can sit here and type and talk. I have to find something to take of all the needless time that I have.

So here is the dirty stuff!! haha no really its more of like who I am. I am Michelle, a 30 year old (god that is hard to type!) mom of 2 daughters who are 7 and 9. I am also a step-mom of a son who is 8. I sure wish I could say that my child life is amazing, but in reality I don't think the kids spend that much time together to actually like each other. Yea they get along great most of the time yet, I think they need more time together to have the 2 days we have them all go so much smoother.

I am married to a wonderful man name Raul, we have been married almost a year. That magical date is the 18th of October. I have truly found my soulmate, best friend and the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. This is coming from a women who never wanted to get married, I never figured why people do it. Believe me I never even dreamed of being a wife/mother when I was younger. Way to much heartbreak for one child to take and understand. Though as I sit and reflect on my life as of today I would never change what I have been through or done. My daughters are my life, Raul is my life. I am very happy where I am today, even with all this endless time on my hands!

Now onto the fun stuff of who I am! I like to play games on the computer, I am way to addicted to Facebook and those freakin games. I have to play my games, my daughters games and Raul's games. I just can't stay away! I love to read all kinds of books, like the horror or suspense. Right now I am trying to get Raul to read faster and read the 4th book in House of Night Series. I like to watch TV, you know all those good shows. Lifetime Movie Network is another fave channel of mine. Otherwise it's cooking shows, reality TV, Blue Bloods (with the yummy Donnie Wahlberg!!) So of course that brings me to the point where you can make fun of me, laugh and wonder why BUT I am a huge NKOTB (new kids on the block) fan. I have been that way since 1990, yep that would translate into 20 years. Wow can't believe its been that long, back in the day I never got to see them perform, then 2 years ago they came back! I did see them and made so many more friends. Trust me check around I bet you know someone who is a fan! We are out there and not hiding anymore! Of course I am a big Donnie Wahlberg fan though that has changed over the years. I started out with Danny, then Jordan but something about Donnie has me to the point he is my favorite.

This must be the point that I would like to say "Thank You!" for actually reading this far! I can't believe I have actually written this much. I mean wow for someone who hates to sit down and write this is a big accomplishment for me!

I will let you know what this blog will be about besides my daily ramblings of nothing, just to keep me sane. I would like to post recipes, ways to save money, and of course misc. things I just think you would like to know.

Thanks again for reading this far and look forward to all the great things I can think to write about!
